Charles E. Blaney was an American dramatist.

The collection consists mainly of typescripts of melodramas written by Blaney, though several represent collaborations with others, including his brother, Harry Clay Blaney. Most of the typescripts are copies, although some are working scripts with holograph editing notations and stage directions added.
