Hafstad

George Hafstad was a plant pathologist and a field technician with the U.S. Rubber Development Corporation in Brazil from 1943 to 1945.

The George E. Hafstad Papers include a diary, several technician reports, and a folder of photographs from Hafstad's time as a field technician with the U.S. Rubber Development Corporation Amazon Division. Additionally, there is a folder of contemporary clippings from American media, likely assembled by Hafstad's wife, Margaret Hafstad.
