Consists of correspondence of Carlos M. Luis with members of Grupo Orígenes, including 11 letters by José Lezama Lima, 9 by Cintio Vitier, 10 by Fina García Marruz, and 8 by Eliseo Diego. Correspondence includes: Feb. 1962 letter written by machine and hand signed; May 1962 typewritten letter signed by hand; September 1962 handwritten letter; Handwritten postcard, stamp dated 1962; June 1963 handwritten letter; Hand written letter dated "late January 1964" ; August 1964 handwritten letter; Card- letter published by the UNEAC, with illustrations cover Mariano; 1966 Card- letter published by the UNEAC; two hand drawings in Lezama letter; 1966 Card- letter published by the UNEAC handwritten; 1966- February 1969, handwritten letter; includes the envelopes of almost all the cards; also numerous letters from other members of the Orígenes group: Cintio Vitier, Fina Garcia Marruz, Eliseo Diego; Eliseo Diego - 8 cards all handwritten; Fina Garcia Marruz - 10 handwritten letters and Machine; Cintio Vitier - 9 handwritten letters 7 typewritten. All dated between 1962 - 1967 and signed.
