Fisher, Samuel B.

During the Civil War, Samuel B. Fisher served in Company G of the 4th New Jersey Volunteers.

The collection consists of nine letters (totaling 37 pages) sent by Fisher to his sister in Camden, New Jersey, written between 12 August 1862 and 28 June 1865, chiefly from Union camps in Maryland and Virginia, describing Civil War experiences of his unit, Company G, 4th New Jersey Volunteers.

Purchased in 2007.
