The Gülmez Frères were three brothers, of Armenian origin, who operated a photography studio in Istanbul, Turkey.
The collection is an open collection of photographs by the Gülmez Frères. Included are five albumen prints of scenes in the area around Constantinople and a six-part gelatine silver print panorama of the Bosporus.
Purchase: Acquired with matching funds provided by the Program in Hellenic Studies with the support of the Stanley J. Seeger Hellenic Fund.
