Athanasiou, Konstantinos, active 1875-1905

Konstantinos Athanasiou was a Greek photographer.

The collection consists of photographs by Athanasiou. Currently, there are more than 50 photographs of Greek antiquities, including sculptures and ruins, such as the Tower of the Winds, Monument of Philopappus, Acropolis, and Theatre of Dionysus.

Part of the collection was a gift of Dimitri Gondicas, Princeton Class of 1978; additions are acquired with matching funds provided by the Program in Hellenic Studies with the support of the Stanley J. Seeger Hellenic Fund.
