Marius B. Jansen was a professor of Japanese history at Princeton University.

The collection consists of Jansen's general correspondence, correspondence with the family of Leroy Lansing Janes, unpublished papers and lectures, lecture notes taken at Princeton and Harvard, publishing files, and materials related to the Princeton Class of 1944.
