Overview and metadata sections
The collection consists of 20 summary reports (numbers 48-51, Aug.-Sept. 1948, and numbers 59-74, Jan.-Sept. 1949) of operational intelligence of the British military mission to Greece during the Greek Civil War (1944-1949), discussing activities of the Greek National Army, the Communist Party of Greece, and bandit attacks, including two maps of bandit activity. Also included are six memoranda (1948) of the Joint United States Military Advisory and Planning Group (JUSMAPG) concerning battalion training.

This collection was the gift of Mark Mazower, Visiting Professor of History, in 1999.
