Consists of selected financial records from the New York City office of the Scientific Book Club, which had its editorial office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The collection consists of selected financial records from the New York City office of the Scientific Book Club, which had its editorial office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Included are alphabetical files (1944-1945) of bill statements for books purchased by the Scientific Book Club from various publishers, such as Blakiston Co., Bobbs-Merrill, Garden City Publishing House, G. P. Putnam's, Princeton University Press, and Random House; 9 ledgers of accounts (1930-1944); 3 checkstub books (1942-1944); and representative samples of cancelled checks (1942-1946).
