Mark Schorer (1908-1977) was an American critic, scholar, and author. He was chair of the Department of English at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1960 to 1965. He was best known for his biography Sinclair Lewis: An American Life, published in 1961.
The collection consists of a photoduplicated copy of Schorer's original typescript, with holograph corrections, for his biography of the American novelist Sinclair Lewis: An American Life (1961).
