Most of the collection is comprised of both autograph and typed manuscripts, the majority of which are signed by the author. Manuscripts of essays include "A Brief Case," "Off the Deep End," and "The Century." There are also two autograph manuscripts of verse, "Of a Child That Had a Fever" and "A Basement Love Song." Among the galley proofs are The Case of Bouck White and Internal Revenue; the latter has been corrected by the author. In addition, there is Armstrong correspondence concerning his acquisition of the Morley material, and page proofs of Alfred P. Lee's A Bibliography of Christopher Morley.
