Overview and metadata sections

Princeton University Players (PUP).

Princeton University Players (PUP) was formed in 1986 as the only all student-run musical theatre organization on campus, with six productions each season.

From 1948-1960, another student theatre organization, University Players, was active at Princeton, but bears no relation to PUP.

The Princeton University Players (PUP) Records consists of programs and posters from 1986-2012, as well as the script from their first production, "One Fine Day" by Suzannah Bex Wilson '89.

Folders are arranged in chronological order within their boxes.

Materials in this collection were transferred to the University Archives in several accessions from 2012-2013.

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
