This is a finding aid. It is a description of archival material held at the Princeton University Library: University Archives. Unless otherwise noted, the materials described below are physically available in their reading room, and not digitally available through the web.
Overview and metadata sections
The Princeton University College Republicans are the official student group on campus of the National Republican Party. The group's stated mission is to cultivate Republican ideas on campus, provide opportunities for members to get involved in politics, and assist Republican candidates at all levels of government. The organization has been present on campus since at least 1932 and has been active on campus since at least since 1964.
The College Republican Records consist primarily of photographs from College Republican events, campaigning, and social media. Also included is a list of College Republican officers from 2012-2016.
The files reflect their original order as when transferred to the University Archives.
The records were transferred to the University Archives in April of 2016 as part of the Archiving Student Activism at Princeton (ASAP) initiative (AR.2016.033).
