Overview and metadata sections

Princeton University. Ivy Council.

The Ivy Council, founded in 1993, is a non-profit organization comprised of student leaders from all eight Ivy League universities. Its mission is to promote inter-campus communication and collaboration between the student governments of its member schools. The Ivy Council provides a platform to build a unified voice representing the diverse student bodies of the Ivy League through various conferences and programs.

The Ivy Council records document the group's activities from 2013 to 2016. The records contan minutes and agendas from meetings, budget information, Ivy Policy Conference planning documents and reports, election information, and other administrative records.

The collection is arranged into three series: Administrative Files, Ivy Policy Conference, and Elections. Folders within each series retain their originial order as when transferred to the University Archives.

The records were transferred to the University Archives in April of 2016 as part of the Archiving Student Activism at Princeton (ASAP) initiative (AR.2016.029).
