Overview and metadata sections

Princeton University. Office of Community and Regional Affairs.

The Office of Community and Regional Affairs, formerly known as the Office of Community and State Affairs, acts as a liaison between Princeton University and county and local governments. The CRA office also oversees a variety of programs geared towards strengthening ties between the University and the surrounding communities, including a continuing education program for area residents, a non-credit auditing program, and a surplus equipment program which provides local nonprofit organizations with furniture and equipment that the University no longer uses.

Consists of student files of the continuing education program.

Files were transferred from the Office of Community and Regional Affairs in two separate accessions.

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.

Collection is unprocessed and has been left in its original arrangement. Finding aid updated by Annalise Berdini in December 2018.

Appraisal information was not recorded at time of processing.
