Overview and metadata sections
Princeton Alumni Publications, Inc. is a non-profit organization which since 1900 has published the Princeton Alumni Weekly, an independent alumni magazine with a circulation of 60,000.
This collection contains images used or considered for use by the publication the Princeton Alumni Weekly. The photographs are generally black-white glossy 8x10 prints; however, 5x7 prints are also found within the collection.
This is an unprocessed collection and remains in its original arrangement.
The photographs in this collection were donated by the Board of Princeton Alumni Publications, Inc. in the fall of 1991. From time to time, additional photographs are received from the PAW and integrated into the collection.
For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
