Overview and metadata sections
Beginning in 1968, the Publications Department was headed by George H. Marcus. During the 1970s and 1980s, Christine K. Ivusic and Janet Watkins served consecutively as his Assistant/Senior Editors. In 1979, Russel Rollins was appointed as the first designer to the department, forecasting its consistent growth in subsequent years. The Editorial and Graphic Design Department eventually emerged as a response in 1999 and was managed by Matthew Pimm.
This collection contains nearly 900 photographs that were received from the Editorial and Graphic Designs Department, dated photographs span the years 1966 to 2000.
