Overview and metadata sections

David Lebe was born in Manhattan in 1948. He studied photography at The Philadelphia College of Art from 1966 to 1970, and later taught classes there from 1972 to 1990 while exhibiting his own photography in private galleries and museums. In 1992, he left Philadelphia for New York’s Hudson Valley, where he continues to create and exhibit his works.

Archival materials from the artist David Lebe, consisting of a dozen exhibition posters, a small envelope of artist’s greeting cards, and other ephemera.

These materials were arranged and described by Sarah Lerner in 2016.
