Overview and metadata sections
The Haverford College Campus Club was created for the "improvement and preservation of the College Campus, the marking and cataloging of the rare trees and schrubs on the campus, the stimulating of an interest in ornithology by the attraction and observation of birds, and especially the promotion of an interest in forestry in general."
This collection contains two volumes of minutes of the Haverford College Campus Club as well as other organizational documents, including annual reports, drawings, publications, photographs, and membership materials.
The first volume contains minutes from 1901, and the second volume contains minutes and other materials from 1902 to 1934. The notebook includes notes on the history of campus, executive committee meeting minutes, lists of plantings, annual reports, committee reports, financial records, and correspondence. The materials on improvements to the pond include reports by Haverford engineering student Daniel Smiley, Jr.
The volumes in this collection are arranged chronologically and other materials are arranged topically.
