Overview and metadata sections
Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) was a Haverford club for students of the LGBTQ community that emerged out of an earlier group known as the Bisexual, Gay, and Lesbian Alliance (BGALA) around 2001. SAGA was active on campus until the late 2010s.
This collection contains some documentation of the Haverford atmosphere around the LGBTQ community in the form of official college materials mentioning the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) and online discussion boards. Additionally, there are some SAGA-specific materials, both administrative and promotional. Finally, there are miscellaneous materials including personal reflections of the club's members and t-shirts created by the club.
Materials are arranged thematically and chronologically.
Processed by Madison Arnold-Scerbo; completed July, 2018; updated by Elizabeth Jones-Minsinger, February 2021.
