Overview and metadata sections
The Experimental College (ExCo) program was introduced to Haverford via the passing a plenary resolution in 1996. The program was a way to offer the student body a wider array of classes by letting students teach their own classes on whatever topic they saw fit. Students would apply to teach their class and then accepted classes would be offered to the general student body. A new set of classes was offered every quarter. This program was inspired by similar programs at other colleges, such as Oberlin.
This first box contains documentation of the first few years of coursework offered via ExCo.
