Overview and metadata sections

17 people graduated with the Haverford College Class of 1888, and 16 additional people were a part of the class at one point but did not graduate with them. The cremation ceremony took place at Haverford throughout the late nineteenth-century when the sophomore class burned the most hated textbook in a ritualistic ceremony.

This collection contains a photograph album from the Haverford College Class of 1888 and an invitation to the cremation ceremony they held at the end of their sophomore year in 1886.

This collection is arranged in one volume and one folder.
