This collection contains materials created by Haverford College Class of 1880. The cremation ceremony took place at Haverford throughout the late nineteenth-century when the sophomore class burned the most hated textbook in a ritualistic ceremony.
This collection consists of a program for the cremation ceremony conducted by the Class of 1880 at the end of their sophomore year in 1878.
