Overview and metadata sections

The Erodelphian is the publication of the Erodelphian Society, a men's debating and speaking club that began at Swarthmore College and may have occasionally collaborated with Haverford College as well. The Erodelphian Society changed its name to the Eunomian Society shortly after its inception and published a paper under its new name.

This collection contains the eleventh issue of The Erodelphian, a hand-written literary journal containing essays and poetry. While later issues were published through Swarthmore College, this issue was published in association with Haverford College.
