Abstract:

Samuel Morgan Heaton (ca. 1803-1862) was born circa 1803 in Jefferson, PA, the son of John Heaton and Sarah Morgan Roberts. Heaton died circa 1862 in Illinois.

This collection is comprised of the single volume of Samuel Heaton's mathematics notebook. The volume is handwritten, and titled "Mensuration of Superficies," which includes mathematical problems and geometric diagrams.
