The Business Problem Group of Philadelphia was part of the Social Order Committee of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, Orthodox whose purpose was to "deal with prblems of the relation between employers and employees (such as those involved in the democratization of business, welfare work for employee methods of eliminating competition, etc." ("The Friend, January 23, 1919).

This collection contains three bound volumes of minutes from meetings of the Business Problems Group of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. The group met and had presentations and programs. The minutes reflect the process of deciding on speakers, as well as membership, reports from an investigator committee, and brief descriptions of the addresses that were given at the meetings, on related topics.
