The receipt book of David Halstead includes amounts received from various individuals, as well as affirmations of membership in the Society of Friends as a reason for objection to carrying arms.

David Halstead was born in 1777 and died in 1839.

This collection is comprised of the single volume receipt book of David Halstead. The volume includes amounts received from various individuals, as well as affirmations of membership in the Society of Friends as a reason for objection to carrying arms.

The David Halsted receipt book was donated to Special Collections, Haverford College in 1949 by L. Arnold Post.
