J.P. Elkinton graduated from Haverford College in 1908. He was a Quaker, and traveled on religious visits. He married Mary Bucknell.
This collection is comprised of the two type-written volumes of J. P. Elkinton's autobiography. The volumes describe Elkinton's childhood and family, his attendance at Haverford College, from which he graduated in 1908. He also describes his experiences with the Society of Friends, particularly his travels on religious visits, and his adult life with his wife, Mary Bucknell, and their children. In addition to stories from various periods of his life, he provides biographical sketches of his family members.
