Overview and metadata sections

Douglas Hamilton Heath (1925-) was born October 1, 1925, the son of Russell Manson Heath and Eleanor Conrow Heath. He is a psychologist who worked for many years at Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania.

This collection is comprised of the manuscript and proof of Douglas Heath's "Growing up in College: Liberal Education and Maturity." The book expands upon Heath's work, "Explorations of Maturity," and studies a small group of young men at a single college using the "theory of maturity."
