Abstract:
The photograph album of Jehu Newlin includes portraits of various Quakers, including Charles Wakefield, Foster Green, Jane Newson, Sarah Gibbons, and Theodore Harris.

Jehu Newlin (1848-1897) was born in June, 1848, in Hutsonville, Illinois. In 1873, he married Sarah Winslow. The couple had at least two children, Frank (born circa 1883) and Harvey (born circa 1887). Jehu Newlin died in 1897.

This collection is comprised of the single volume photograph album of Jehu Newlin. The album includes portraits of various Quakers, including Charles Wakefield, Foster Green, Jane Newson, Sarah Gibbons, and Theodore Harris.
