Collection of postmarks in which the postmaster used the Quaker style for naming months (i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd month, etc.).
This collection is comprised of a single folder of clippings related to Quaker fiction. Included are the following clippings: "Quakers in Children's Books" by Edith C. Passmore, "Friends in Fiction," by Robert Muschamp, "As Others See It" by Louise Lamprey, "'Friendly Persuasion' in Color at Stanley" by Mildred Martin, "'Friends in Action': Ready for the Play," "Alan Ladd Plays Role of Quaker in War Film," "In the Movies" by Laura Lee, "'Angel and the Badman' Stars John Wayne at the Stanton." Also included are both published lists of fiction in which Quakers are mentioned, and a typed, unpublished list of Quaker fiction.

Typed notes about the Stavanger Boarding School near LeGrand, Iowa. It operated between 1891-1916, and was torn down in 1937. These notes were compiled by H.S. Fawcett in 1937, before the building was torn down. The notes include information about courses offered, the goals of the school, and lists of teachers and students.

Walton. Also included is a letter Jesse M. Walton sent to a Mr. Cooper, of Colombiana, Ohio, along with a copy of the pamphlet.

Material concerning D. Robert Yarnall's decision not to become headmaster at Westtown in 1923. These materials include his outline regarding his decision making, how several people responded when queried about this opportunity, and Yarnall's letter to George Rhoads declining the offer.

Statistics of holdings and affiliation of Dutchess County and Hudson Monthly Meetings (from publication on N.Y.Y.M. by Alson van Wagner). 2 p., photocopied.
Includes two fragments, one dated 1769, one dated 1777. The fragment dated 1769 appears to be in Latin. Also included are a handwritten agreement with Lehigh Coal and Navigation Co. concerning the use of the Lehigh Lock on the Lehigh river, and any work done by the company on the Delaware river, signed by Josiah White, and a menu for a breakfast hosted as part of the celebration of the one hundredth anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution of the United States.
Single, small pocket almanac for the year 1838, by Jospeh Foulke, published by T.E. Chapman in Philadelphia, and sold by E. Weaver, of New York.
Single, handwritten extract of minutes for a Monthly Meeting for Sufferings, held the 16th, 4 mo., 1778. The extract refers to amounts paid by the meeting for the printing and binding of pamphlets. The extract includes the signature of the Clerk of the Meeting, Nicholas Waln.
Single, small, handwritten notebook containing a list of "Family Visits of Elizabeth Robson accompanied by her husband & other Friends, commenced the 12 mo, 1848." The notebook records all of the people Robosn saw on her trip, and the dates on which she visited them.
Handwritten note stating that at "Gov Gouldington's house, Neport RI in it Friend's Meeting was held and in it George Fox preached. Given to me in 1833 by Mary Ann Lee of Washington, R.I." The note is signed A.E. Wendell, Haverford College.

Taylor, Joseph Scattergood, John Lippincott, Charles Yarnall, Samuel Rhoads, and others.
