Thurston, Ethel R. Potts et al. Provident Life was begun by Quakers. Asa Wing (1850-1931) became its president.

William Penn to James Peter, 1681.

Two handwritten copies of the Bill of sale of land, sold by William Penn to James Peter on 9/26/1681. The second copy was made later, and was written on the back of of a printed engraving entitled "La Cigale," by Edouard Bisson, and dated 1890.
