Susan Howland was born on November 16th, 1791 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Geo [George] Howland was born on July 11th, 1781 in Acushnet, Massachusetts. Susan and Geo married on April 26th, 1810 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Phebe Jane Howland (Phebe Field) was born on April 2nd, 1813 in Cayuga, New York. Augustus "Humphrey" Howland was born on January 29th, 1811 in New Bedford, Massachussetts. He is the son of Geo [George] and Susan Howland. Phebe Jane Howland and Augustus Howland married on September 21st, 1831.
This collection contains a jointly written letter by Geo [George] and Susan Howland to Phebe Field and Humphrey Howland in 1830. It also contains a transcript of the letter.
