Abstract:
This collection contains a note written by Mary Hoxie Jones in 1985 where she reflects on her experience seeing Halley's comet as a six year old. This note was written around a year before the next passing of Halley's Comet in 1986.

Mary Hoxie Jones, daughter of Ruthus Matthew Jones (1863-1948) and Elizabeth Bartram "Lily" Cadbury (1871-1952), was born on July 27, 1904 in Haverford, PA. She passed away on December 26, 2003 in Kennett Square, PA.

This collection contains a note written by Mary Hoxie Jones in 1985 where she reflects on her experience seeing Halley's comet as a six year old. This note was written around a year before the next passing of Halley's Comet in 1986.
