The Doukhobors, also known as the Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood, are a religious sect who migrated from Russia to Saskatchewan, Canada between 1899 and 1939 to flee persecution from the Russian government.
This collection contains photographs of the Doukhobors during their 50th anniversary in Sasketchewan, Canda in 1949. The photographs are all black and white. Some photographs display words in Russian. The envelope the photographs came in is in English.
