Overview and metadata sections
Thomas Carrington was an American Quaker who lived in Chester County, Pennsylvania and travelled to Ireland and Britain.
This collection consists of a small set of documents related to Thomas Carrington, a Quaker of Chester County. There are two letters from Carrington to a friend Thomas Sugar, a draft and a final copy of Carrington's will, and an inventory of belongings in New York in 1783. One letter describes Carrington's passage to Ireland (notably he writes that the captain was washed overboard) and the other letter writes about his travel in Britain and the Falmouth Quarterly Meeting.
