Abstract:
This collection contains the financial ledgers of the Chalfonte Hotel from 1901, 1904, and 1905.

The Chalfonte Hotel was established in 1876. It is recognized as the oldest original hotel in Cape May, New Jersey.

This collection contains the financial ledgers of the Chalfonte Hotel from 1901, 1904, and 1905. The ledgers contain entries for individuals and companies including Alfred Lowry, Haines, Jones and Cadbury, and Strawbridge and Clother.

This collection is arranged in three folders.

The Chalfonte Hotel ledgers were received by Special Collections, Haverford College in 2006 from D.F. Peterson. Accession # 7098.
