Elizabeth Lloyd (1811-1896) was a prominant female Quaker abolitionist and author.

This collection contains a handwritten bound copy of "An Appeal for the Bond-Woman," in which author Elizabeth Lloyd advocates that children can undergo a deliberate socialization by their mother towards Christian morality.
