Edith M. Rowntree was the first cousin of John Wilhelm Rowntree and sister of Arnold Rowntree. In 1904, she traveled to the United States to visit the west coast and attend the Haverford Summer School.

This collection contains the letters, written in 1904, of Edith Rowntree to her family and friends at home while visiting the United States: attending the Haverford Summer School and going to the west coast.

This collection is arranged in a single folder.

The Letters of Edith M. Rowntree while visiting US and Haverford were donated to Special Collections, Haverford College in 1999 by Mary Hoxie Jones. Original accession # 5542.
