Overview and metadata sections
The First Friends World Conference was in 1936. The Friends World Committee for Consultaion (FWCC) was created at the second Friends World Conference in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, in 1937. The FWCC took the place of the Friends World Conference. The FWCC works to host Quaker conferences and communicate between its world headquarters in London and Quakers around the world. In addition to their world headquarters, the FWCC also includes an Africa section, an Asia and West Pacific Section, a Europe and Middle East section, and a Section of the Americas.
This collection is comprised of the typed minutes of a Meeting of the Committee on arrangements for the London Conference.
