John Henry Douglas (1832-1919) was born in Wayne, Indiana, on November 27, 1832. He was a Quaker minister who worked to establish Quaker meetings in Iowa and later in California. He died on December 12, 1919.

This collection is composed of three folders of typed transcripts of Douglas's correspondence, manuscripts related to Douglas, and portrait photographs.
