Small single volume "Excelsior" diary of William H. Bacon, for the year 1881. The diary includes printed information including "astronomical calculations," "Interest Tables," and tables of information about wages, postage, retail prices, and the populations of various U.S. cities. Diary entries inclue descriptions of family news, and social calls.
