Archibald MacIntosh was a 1921 graduate of Haverford College. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1953. At Haverford, he was appointed director of admissions in 1932, vice president in 1942, and twice acting president in 1945-1946 and 1956-1957. He retired in 1965.

This collection contains two notebooks of Archibald MacIntosh. One contains notes about Snow Cornice project and a trip to Africa. The other contains notes about African scholarship programs in American universities.

The volumes in this collection are arranged chronologically.
