The collection comprises two reprints of articles published in Pennsylvania newspapers in honor of the Pennsylvania German poet and writer Harvey Monroe Miller, following his death on June 17, 1939. Miller, who wrote under the pseudonym Solly Hulsbuck, also worked at an insurance company. He was born in Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pa., and lived there most of his life. He published his first collection of poems in Elizabethville in 1906. One of the items is entirely in Pennsylvania German dialect.
