Dr. Cummings was a student at MCP during the transition from MCP to MCP-Hahnemann. She was active with the curriculum committee that helped to structure the first curriculum for the combined schools.
Dr. Cummings' collection mostly consists of her notes and curriculum materials concerning various health topics. Some examples are behavioral science, biochemistry, physiology, immunology, and meningitus. There are several sets of notecards with academic information and some with patient information. Included are her residency materials from University of California at San Francisco.
On 4 September 2002 Anne Cummings, M.D. of San Francisco, CA has conveyed this collection as an unrestricted gift, and has transferred to Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly known as MCP Hahnemann University) legal title, copyright, and literary property right in the collection.
