One letter in which Lincoln requessts Hays' opinion on "the enclosed printed matter" (not present) and the ethics of publishing it, possibly in a Minnesota State Medical Society publication.

William L. Lincoln was a physician in Wabasha, Minnesota.

Isaac Hays was an ophthalmologist and medical ethicist. He was a founding member of the American Medical Association and the first president of the Philadelphia Ophthalmological Society.
