James Quincy Gant, Jr., dermatologist, was born in 1906. He received an M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia in 1935 and had an internship at the Stuart Circle Hospital. In 1940, Gant was a surgeon with the U.S. Public Health Service at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In 1989, he was retired and living in Washington, D.C.
Typed letters signed from John H. Stokes, 1940 Aug. 9, and Herman Beerman, 1940 Aug. 12, dermatologists at the University of Pennsylvania, to James Q. Gant, Jr., responding to inquiry about projected third volume of Louis A. Duhring's Cutaneous medicine.
