Overview and metadata sections
Isaac W. Anderson of Philadelphia was born in 1795. He received his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College in 1835. Anderson died on 25 Aug. 1865.
Anderson attacks the current understanding of fistula lacrymalis, describes the anatomy and physiology of the tear ducts, and advises opening the sac for relief. Two cases (dated May, 1831) are used for illustration.
