This is a collection of advertisements and ephemera from Joseph C. Ferguson, Jr., Opticians. Materials include scrapbooks of newspaper advertisements and printed advertising brochures, including "Eye Talks," "The Eyes Have It," "The Right Way," and "Your Eye Health." There is also a scrapbook of other advertising ephemera, including calendars, negative sleeves, lens cleaning cloths, and Christmas gift suggestion lists. The collection also includes forms for advertising letters; instruction manuals for ophthalmometers; and product brochures for other products sold by the firm, including thermometers, binoculars, opera glasses, cameras, and photograph developing equipment and supplies.
