Henry Shenkin (1915-2007) was director of neurosurgery at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, and was a professor of neurosurgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and at Temple University Medical School. He was a fellow of the College of Physicians. Jack David Pressman (1957-1997) was an Associate Professor in the Department of the History of Health Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco. Pressman attended Cornell University where he received his BA with Honors in Neurobiology and Behavior and received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania's Department of History and Sociology of Science.
This is an audiocassette of a December 7, 1985 oral history interview of Dr. Shenkin conducted by Jack David Pressman.
